The winner of a tournament. Regardless of whether it's an amateur local affair with a small plated cup as the prize, or one of the biggest professional affairs like an Open, where in addition to a stunning trophy there is a matter of several hundred thousand dollars that the title will earn the winner, a champion is still a champion.
